Biography
Alana Honigman is a licensed clinical social worker. She has worked in community behavioral health since receiving her MSW from Smith College in 2012. Her clinical work has been with children, families, and adults, focusing on trauma, mind-body connection, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. In recent years, she turned her focus to supporting clinicians through supervision and program management. She is particularly interested in increasing sustainability in social work through community building and advocacy within systems.
Her current role is as Mental Health Program Manager at Therapeutic Health Services, supporting a team of clinicians and supervisors at seven locations in and around 香港六合彩开奖结果. She is knowledgeable about the community behavioral health systems for adults, youth, and families in both King and Snohomish County. She also participates in the Workforce Development Initiative’s (WDI) Healthcare Industry Leadership Table (HILT) Committee to encourage new mental health professionals to join community behavioral health upon graduation.
Alana is passionate about mentoring new social workers. She has been working with interns since 2014 and loves the unique and dynamic learning process she experiences with her students.
