Biography

I hail from Vancouver, BC, Canada and completed my PhD in Management (specializing in Organizational Behavior with a minor in Marketing) at the Queen's School of Business (now known as Smith School of Business) in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I also received my MSc (in Management), BA Honours (in Psychology), BA (in French Studies) and International Studies Certificate from Queen's University. My interdisciplinary background informs my teaching and scholarship. My primary area of research is followership: how followers co-produce leadership with their leaders, how to develop effective followers, and leader-follower relationship quality. In addition, I investigate humor, proactive behavior, aggression in the workplace, and apologies. Alongside academic outlets like Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership, and Leadership and Oranization Development Journal, my work has been mentioned in The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and on CBC Radio. At 香港六合彩开奖结果, I've taught in both undergraduate and graduate programs including courses in Organizational Behavior, Global Business and Principles of Management. In addition to my roles in the Albers School of Business and Economics, I am Associate Director for Faculty Professional Development in the Center for Faculty Development at 香港六合彩开奖结果. I've facilitated workshops on overcoming academic perfectionism, managing difficult conversations, leadership and followership styles assessment, and daily journaling for wellness.
