Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Shuman received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Belgrade University, Yugoslavia, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. from the University of Washington, 香港六合彩开奖结果. Her doctoral dissertation focused on NOx and CO Formation for Lean-Premixed Methane-Air Combustion in a Jet-Stirred Reactor Operated at Elevated Pressure.

Teaching and Research Interests

Dr. Shuman currently works on rapid and low-energy input dewatering of microalgae and on innovative teaching that enhances student learning. Her research is published in leading peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, and her papers won best paper awards at ASEE Annual Conferences.  She serves her professional and larger community with paper reviews, committee and board memberships.
